  • The characteristic of this exclusive Koshirae lies in its Same-wrapped Tsuka with a spiral Tsukamaki finished in Tensho (the ito passes over the buffalo-horn Kashira).

     Itogawa made by hand with the best quality Japanese leather

    The Saya (scabbard) is carved along the first third and wrapped with Samegawa which adapts to its shape.

    The central part of the Saya narrows creating a sort of hourglass shape, is lacquered in Ishime (rough textured finish) and has a Tsunogaeshi (small hook) to fix the Saya to the Obi.

     

    Same-wrapped Tsuka with a spiral Tsukamaki with Tensho finish (the ito passes over the buffalo horn Kashira).

     

    Carved along the first third and wrapped in Samegawa adapting to its shape. The central part of the Saya narrows creating a sort of hourglass shape, is Ishime-lacquered and has a Tsunogaeshi to fix the Saya to the Obi.
